Leak control is accomplished several different ways. Although concrete appears to be quite solid, it is in fact a very porous substrate. Python can install waterproofing systems to the positive or the negative side of your structure. Negative side repairs can be accomplished without emptying the tank. Cracks and joints are common problem areas for leaks. The waterstops in expansion joints often have areas of lack of consolidation which allows water to leak through the expansion joints.

We can evaluate the water leak problem, determine the cause and provide you with pricing and recommended procedures to address the problem.

We have the ability to repair any joint / crack / or consolidation leak that you may have.

Leaking expansion joints cause problems such as slip and fall exposure.

This expansion joint was injected with expanding foam to stop the leak.

After injecting with expanding foam the expansion joint can be sealed with the appropriate joint sealant material.

Leaking cracks can be injected with expanding foam to provide a flexible seal.

The expanding foam travels along the crack to fill it and provide a seal. It is actually helpful for the crack to be leaking while the injection is being done so we can tell when the leak is stopped.

Concrete is a porous material that has tunnel like capillaries that are formed naturally during the curing process. These capillaries sometimes allow water to migrate through the concrete. Crystalline waterproofing materials can be applied to the positive or negative side to seal the concrete by filling the capillaries where water might penetrate.
Crystalline products work by means of diffusion. The reactive chemicals in the products use water as a migrating medium to enter and travel down the capillaries of the concrete. This process causes a chemical reaction between the crystalline material and moisture and the by-products of cement hydration, forming a new non-soluble crystalline structure. This crystalline structure fills the capillariesand seals the concrete. Since the crystals are attracted by the moisture in the concrete they grow into the capillaries and pores and follow the moisture to penetrate deep into the concrete.
