Sauereisen
coatings are thin-film, resin-based corrosion barriers for use as stand-alone
coatings or high-gloss sealants over other materials. Typical application
thickness is 10 mils or less. Systems available include epoxies, vinyl esters,
and urethanes.

Sauereisen
linings are a step above coatings because of their advanced reinforcement. They
withstand significant physical abuse and are very low in permeability.
Typically, these materials are used as stand-along linings in primary and
secondary containment areas. These corrosion barriers are spray or
trowel-applied at a thickness from 40 to 125 mils. Binder systems available
include epoxies, novolak epoxies and vinyl esters.

Sauereisen
produces inorganic castable and gunite-grade monolithics. The inorganics provide
chemical resistance to most acids, solvents, and alkalis at temperatures to
2100°F. Using anchors as reinforcement, Sauereisen refractories are applied at a
minimum 2-inch thickness for such typical applications as stack linings,
wastewater infrastructures and sulfur pits. Binders systems include potassium
silicates and calcium aluminates.

extensive selection of mortars range from silicate mortars for high acid/high

are best suited for thin film bonding and coating applications from 2 to 125
mils. Because the curing mechanism involves the evaporation of water, working
time is indefinite and final cure occurs between 18 and 24 hours. If a faster
cure is desired, heat will accelerate the process. Great for assembly line
applications.
